100th ship reloading performed by ELENGY
On 30th August 2021, Elengy’s Fos Cavaou terminal (Marseille) welcomed the LNG carrier Gaslog Savannah for the 100th ship reloading operation performed at its terminals.
These 100 cargoes, representing around 6 million tonnes of LNG, were loaded on 58 different LNG carriers and transported by our clients from Elengy's terminals to 25 countries around the world.
Launched in 2012 to meet our clients’ need for flexibility, this solution is one of the first service diversifications offered by Elengy, and demonstrates the high level of adaptability and operational reliability of its LNG terminals, which are ideally located on two maritime coasts (Mediterranean and Atlantic).
These 100 reloads add to 73 ship-to-ship transhipments (from berth to berth, without using terminal's tanks) carried out at the Montoir-de-Bretagne LNG terminal since 2013, 69 since 2018.
With LNG, Elengy is contributing to the energy transition of all energy players who are committed to reducing their environmental footprint. Elengy is also developing its services to increase the use of LNG and offer a carbon-neutral service by 2050.
