Elengy has always favoured a local and socially responsible approach. As a major economic player in the Fos-sur-Mer and Montoir-de-Bretagne regions, we are keen to get involved in solidarity initiatives in line with our core business. The sea, the environment, safety and sport are all issues to which we are committed.
Our actions are long-term and give meaning to our presence wherever we operate.

• Education: since 2006, our industrial sites have received more than 7000 visitors who have come to find about our activities.
• Information: we actively participate in the Local Information and Consultation Committees in France. The forums are ideal to discuss and gain information about initiatives undertaken at our terminals.
• Support: we provide logistical support to the French National Lifeguards Association (Société National des Sauveteurs en Mer - SNSM) in the areas of Pornichet and Carro,  etc.
• Sports: we actively support the Fos Provence Basket team, the SNVBA (Saint-Nazaire Volley Ball Atlantique), 
• Employment: Elengy Loire Atlantique is an active member of the Foundation Agir Contre exclusion (FACE - Foundation Against Social Exclusion) to support jobseekers in their search for work. Since 2010, 370 jobbers have been supported. 90% of them have found a job.
• Security: Montoir-de-Bretagne has just signed an “Employer/Volunteer Firefighter Employee” agreement with the Departmental Fire and Rescue Services (SDIS) of Loire Atlantique (44) and Morbihan (56).
